Begin Blocks.com: Start the Begin Blocks.com is the first in a number of articles to be published in Austin, Texas, inspired by my recent speech in Keep Ruby Strange. I’ve been using Ruby full time for a number of years, and I’ve seen a lot of stuff along the way that made my head prick. Since I had to know a little more about the language, I have become clearer about the reasons behind some of those design decisions, and I would like to share some of that view.
Keep ruby bizarre this series deals with some unusual behaviors of Ruby which may be contrasting, particularly those which surprise new developers or newcomers from other languages. Not going to be another ‘WTF Ruby’ list again?! ‘Samples of code. I hope that some of these habits will be alternative and why they are important to the way we use the language.
In the beginning block, an obviously secure control structure that does not normally affect the code very much. It can gather mistakes and manage them in conjunction with the rescue.
If we add another to the restoration, we can run code if we do not see errors. Beginning blocks can also be used to ensure that any code is running with a “assure” block. When you pair them with circumstances… it begins to happen unpredictable things. Let’s get started at the outset.
