Amanda Gorman Reviews: The National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman stolen the show with the emotional debut of its poem, “The Hill We Climb” at President Biden’s inauguration Wednesday and soon became a subject of trends on Twitter. Many praised the 22-year-old not only for his good work but also for her words of reconciliation. After the inauguration, Gorman looked for jobs, and hours later, the author tweeted that her books hold the top positions on the Amazon bestseller list (a position they still held as of this writing).

But while you can order Gorman’s books online right now, for at least a few more months, you will not be able to read them. The original poetry book by Gorman and the children’s book by Gorman are not scheduled for publication until September 21, 2021.

And while Penguin Random House publishers state that a special edition of Gorman’s poem, The Hill We Climb, is going to be published in print, the release is not due until April 27th.

Release dates may, of course, change, especially as the buzz around Gorman continues to rise. There is some hope that to take advantage of the momentum, Penguin Random House will speed up the release of the titles.
